As you could see it's a blue diamond! Michelle was laughing when she saw this and my sister and I thought it would be funny to give her a ring like this. Knowing that Michelle loves to joke around she laughed and thought... "what is this?" Well after I had given her the ring I told her that I had something else for her and that's when I brought out the engagement ring. The ring had three diamonds which symbolized the past, present and future that we both have together. The moment I brought out the ring Michelle was taking continous pictures of me putting the ring on her finger and then she started to get teary eyed. Until now she never admitted that she cried, but I know that she had mixed emotions that time. She was nervous, happy and excited and I could see her eyes watering while she took my picture of me putting the ring on her finger and she wouldnt even look at me or let get get a hold of the camera. I was nervous too! I was a bit teary eyed and my fingers were shaking! I was very happy and I really wanted to make that moment very special for the both of us. All I want to do is make her happy and when Michelle is happy then I am happy too! I still remember that day very vividly in my mind. The months of planning I had for this moment didn't go exactly according to plan but it all worked out perfectly in the end. Here are the pictures of when I gave her the actual ring..

The Engagement Ring
I'd like to share my experience with the Engagement ring I had purchased for Michelle. We had already planned to get married prior to my purchase but I still felt that it wasn't complete until my fiancee had her engagement ring. I knew that it meant alot for her to have one and I also felt that it was important too. I know it symbolizes our future union and I told myself I would do whatever it takes to get her a ring. So I decided to surprise Michelle. I know that Michelle hates surprises so I knew this was going to be tough! I purchased the ring in July and I had to keep it a secret for almost four months. Knowing Michelle, if I had given her a clue about my plan then I know it would be a doomed surprise! Here's a picture of me and my papa looking at the rings. As you can see in the pictures I was very excited and happy.
After searching for about an hour and a half for the perfect ring and the perfect diamond we had to wait another three hours for the diamond to be set but it was all worth the wait and I knew that I had the perfect engagement ring for Michelle.
I had originally planned to propose to Michelle at Manila Bay in the Philippines during sunset. I had seen pictures of the bay during sunset and I thought it would be really nice to give it during that time. I had asked Michelle many times if we could visit the bay and I could tell she was getting annoyed but I couldnt give in and say ok we won't go.. hahaha.. She even said that there were alot of bays in Tanay and we could just go there. I was thinking to myself.. " is that even true? haha..oh no we can't do that" I had spoken to one of her good friends Mitch about possible good places where I could propose to Michelle and she said I should do it at the Sofitel. It's a beautiful hotel near the water and I thought to myself that would be perfect! So I had asked my cousin Alain to as well as my other cousin Jerry to play along and make it seem like I had an appointment with one of my cousins at the hotel to give them money during the evening so that Michelle would take me to the hotel. Once again Michelle was starting to get a hunch that something was going on. LOL. She was getting mad at me for wanting to go to the Sofitel and she was saying I wanted to go there just to eat at the buffet! She was saying there would be alot of traffic and that we would get back to Greenhills really late. She was so adament that I was up to no good.. Hahaha. Well I am a buffet connoisseur but that wasn't my plan. She also said it smells there and she just kept on finding excuses not to go there. Well I stuck my ground and I said we will go there because it's for my cousin. She even suggested to go to my cousin's school just to give the money to him.LOL. When I had finally arrived in the Philippines early morning, the engagement ring was on my mind the entire time. We had eaten at a really nice chinese restaurant that morning and once again I had discussed with Michelle about going to the Sofitel. She said she would just let me go with her friend Shaq and that she would stay in Greenhills. Once again Michelle was getting very irriated and frustrated because I wanted to go to the Sofitel. She kept on giving excuses and I was thinking.. "oh man this isn't good" hahah. I also thought I should have just told her friend Shaq that way we'd force her to go to the hotel. Well I finally gave in to her and I said "ok we won't go." When I said that I thought ok that's fine because it's raining right now and it would be much better to give her the ring in Greenhills. I was thinking that I would just give it to her on the rooftop of her condo which has a very nice view of the city. When we arrived at her condo that morning I told Michelle let's go to the roof and take pictures. She agreed and I was thinking "yes! finally something is going right and my plan will work!" So we journeyed up to the rooftop and we took pictures of the city. Michelle was the official photographer so I had no control control of the camera during the entire time we were on the rooftop so I wasn't able to take pictures of her. When the moment was right I told her that I had something very important to tell her. I told her that there were three moments in time which I cheerised most with her. The first moment was when I had met her in the past. The second moment was the time I had with her now and the third moment would be the time I would have with her in the future. To sum it all every moment with her was precious and important to me. That is when I took out the ring and I showed it to her. Here it is...
